Full- and part-time hairstylist

Hairstylists working with Hair We Are will enjoy either a full or part time schedule Monday-Saturday.

We are located in a high-traffic plaza in the Redlands, next to Safeway, Redlands Liquor, Chowdown, Body Therapeutics and more, which means walk-in and call-in clients are frequent. We offer regular continued education, along with in-salon education and support from our seasoned stylists. Hair We Are works primarily with Redken and Surface hair color, with additional options for select techniques such as: Pravana, Pulp Riot, Schwarzkopf and Wella.

We are a commission based salon, and offer health benefits along with retirement options.

Requirements:

• Must have active cosmetology license
• Stylists with a current clientele are encouraged but not required
• Up to date knowledge of haircutting techniques, color theory and hair color techniques, styling
• Proficient with customer service including in depth consultation skills
• Must be willing to work as a team member

 

 

Full-time assistant

Assistants at hair we are are responsible for helping our Stylists with prepping clients, mixing color, applying color, shampooing clients, blow drying and styling and more. The main goal for our assistants is to learn, learn, learn, in the hopes of being a full-time hairstylist behind the chair! Assistants will learn the ins and outs of what being a Hair We Are team member means. We offer hourly pay for our assistants.

Requirements:

• Must have a current cosmetology license
• Must be interested in learning and applying newly learned skills
• Must be reliable and interested in working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to jump-in when necessary to help stylists
• Must be open to graduating to on-the-floor work behind the chair
